An amazing group of volunteers provided life-saving medical care for these patients last week, traveling to Carrefour to run a two-and-a-half-day clinic, serve in an orphanage for a half day, and run two days of mobile clinics in the remote mountains of Haiti. We:
Performed medical and trauma assessments
Disinfected, bandaged, and sutured wounds
Cleaned out ears
Administered breathing treatments
Provided medicine for intestinal parasites, high blood pressure and sugar, acid reflux, severe dehydration, STDs, fungal infections, musculoskeletal pain, and more.
As always, 100 percent of your donations were used directly for patient care – volunteers purchased their own plane tickets and paid for their own food & lodging. The TIH volunteer team is an incredible group of compassionate, intelligent and courageous humans, and we thank them for their incredible generosity, along with all of you.
