Serving the indigenous Ngäbe people of Panama this July

Writer: Benjamin DearingBenjamin Dearing

TIH is excited to be heading to the Chiriquí Province of Panama to provide medical care July 22 through July 27. We'll be serving the indigenous Ngäbe people in the San Félix District, who live on rugged, mountainous terrain and are very isolated – the closest clinic is over an hour away, and because of tension between the Ngäbe and those that live in cities, they typically don't seek care.

We'll be providing vaccines for children, wellness checkups, emergency care, and medicine. As always, we couldn't do this without you and appreciate all of the ways that you support our work! Thank you for considering making a donation or providing supplies. Check out a full list of the most helpful items you can donate here.
